Can you imagine moving to a new country with only what you can squeeze into two suitcases? New students/scholars are in this situation and have nothing when they come - no lamps, desks, bookcases sofas or chairs! The ISI Home Goods Giveaways are a very practical way to help them and show love.
Signup to help, and recruit others too! This important outreach needs lots of help to show the love of Jesus to these newly arrived internationals from around the world. The Giveaways are for KU MED, and AVILA UNIVERSITY new arrivals.
Be a part of helping them experience His love in a very tangible way!!
For a successful Giveaway, we need help during the setup days to unload and organize items. On the day of the Giveaway, we need volunteers to help it run smoothly, plus drivers of vans, trucks and trailers to deliver items to the students' apartments.

GIVEAWAY HELP SIGN-UP LINK
ITEMS NEEDED & WAYS TO HELP:
Small Appliances and cookware in excellent or new condition: rice cookers, toasters, coffee makers, pots, pans, microwave safe cookware, fans, lamps, etc.
Kitchenware: sets for 4 of the following: dishes, glassware, mugs, and silverware. Also needed are kitchen utensils, prep knives, glass or plastic food storage containers, etc.
Linens: NEW pillows in original packaging, new or like new sheet sets (twin, full, or queen), new or like new freshly laundered pillowcases, towel sets, blankets, comforters, kitchen towels, etc.
Furniture: sofas/love seats (2-3 person apartment size), NO SOFA BEDS, chairs, bookcases, dressers (no triple dressers), side tables, nightstands, coffee tables, desks (no overly large or heavy ones), living room chairs, kitchen/dining tables and chairs.
Other household goods for setting up an apartment: new or like new wastebaskets, laundry baskets, hanging shoe holders, hangers (10 in a pack), etc.
You can also give new items through the ISI Gift Registry to either Walmart or Amazon. (ALL gifts are tax deductible.)
$25 Walmart Gift cards needed for students & scholars - we hope for 50 for KU MED students/scholars, and 50 for Avila students.
Financial donations are greatly appreciated to help pay for expenses for the Giveaway.
